aids2031 reflects the voices and opinions of stakeholders throughout the world. The project has engaged nearly 500 leaders, activists and experts within and outside of the AIDS community through thinks tanks, public dialogues and a Young Leaders Summit.

The initiative convenes nine multi–disciplinary working groups – including economists, epidemiologists, and biomedical, social and political scientists – to question conventional wisdom, stimulate new research and spark public debate around: modeling the epidemic, social and political trends, the impact of new science and technology, programmatic responses, financing the response and the future of leadership. aids2031 is also taking a special look at hyperendemic countries and countries in rapid economic transition.
